I'm not the only one, am I?

PLEASE tell me I'm not the only mom out there that has a 2 year old that constantly is throwing his food on the floor, across the table, dumping whatever is on his plate on the table, spitting out his food and spits out whatever he is drinking.

I am at lose, I don't know what to do with him anymore. This happens at every meal 99% of the time. It gets so frustrating to be constantly picking up food and wiping up milk or juice. We even tried giving him smaller portions on his plate and that still didn't work.  So this post is more of a help me post.  I will take any suggestions I can get.  I guess for now I will continue to pray that God gives me the patience I need to get through each meal.

The First Day of School

I now have a 7th, 5th and 2nd grader on my hands. I just wanted to quick share about the first day of school.  Macartney loves his teacher. Even though he doesn't have all of his buddies in his class from last year he was happy to be able to play with then during recess.  So far TJ likes his teacher, he thinks its cool that they will be using ipod touches for class. After school he had to make a quick stop to say "Hi" to his teacher last year, its a good think we live within walking distance from school. I have a feeling this will be a daily routine for him unless it is raining or freezing outside where I will then pick him up from school.  According to Destiny 7th grade is awesome! She likes all of her teachers and is even happy to see that she has a few classes with some of her bff's.

I do believe they had a great first day of school.  I had a good day as well.  I didn't get anything done around the house but for the laundry and I was ok with that.  I just took in the silence, well as much silence as I could seeing I have 2 year old twins at home.  Taking in the silence today was wonderful but it also made me realize how truly blessed I am to have a very loud and busy house.  God has entrusted me with 5 precious children and even though they drive me crazy I love them with all of my heart. So with that being said I will leave you with one of the verses that was used at the twins baptism in the NICU.

Psalm 127:3-5
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.  Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.  They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
